Nickel Processing

AJSI will process low grade nickel ore (limonite). Firstly nickel ore is reduced their moisture content in the rotary dryer, the result from this process usually called as conditioned ore.
Conditioned ore together with other raw materials go into a rotary kiln to remove the LOI that is still contained in the nickel ore, the result from this process usually called as calsined ore. The next stage, calsined ore is then entered into the furnace to separate between the metal and the slag.
Metal that came out of the furnace then be purified to remove their impurities to get the metal in accordance with the desired composition (in this case HG NPI), and finally the purified metal can be casted in CCM. The slag from the furnace will be granulated using slag atomizing technology (SAT) to produce iron granular.
