The Project is belonged to PT Abuki Jaya Stainless Indonesia (“AJSI”) is established in August 28, 2008. PT AJSI is a subsidiary company of PT Antam Tbk. It’s located in Mandiodo, South-East Sulawesi, Indonesia.

Scheme projects experiencing revitalization and change business scheme. For the first stage, the aim of the project is to produce High Grade Nickel Pig Iron (HG-NPI) directly from low grade nickel ore called as limonite using electric furnace.

Production capacity at the first  stage is 120,000 TPA HG-NPI (Ni 11%-12%, Fe 80%-83%) requiring 2,000,000 WMT limonite or blended ore (limonite, saprolite and iron cap). Slag is around  800,000 MT will be further processed to produce Iron Granular. All of products will be sold to the product off-taker. Projects will be developed further to increase its capacity and / or further processing into Stailess FeNi Steel.
